Senior woman leader reviewing a printed Leadership Operating Blueprint — ARYS Career Strategy Diagnostic, Switzerland

Career Strategy Engagements · Director Level & Above

The career decision you are carryingdeserves more than good advice.

You are not short of perspectives. You are short of a structured, written analysis of your specific situation — your fit, your pressure patterns, your leverage, and what the move actually requires of you. That is what a diagnostic produces. That is what a conversation cannot.

Where coaching builds capability over time, a diagnostic resolves a specific decision now.
One engagement. One written output. Yours to act on.

Who this is for

Senior women in corporate leadership — Director level and above. If you are navigating a promotion, a transition, a negotiation, or a question about what comes next — and you want a structured, written answer to a specific decision, not an ongoing process — you are in the right place.

The Decision in Front of You

You know what you need to do.You just need it in writing.

The hardest career decisions are not made in the dark. They are made in the in-between — when you know enough to feel the weight of the choice, but not enough to move with confidence. That is exactly where a structured diagnostic belongs.

Promotion on the table — and you are not sure the role is what they are describing it as
Delivering, but not advancing — and the gap between contribution and recognition has stopped being acceptable
A lateral move or scope change — that feels strategic but carries risks nobody is naming out loud
Re-entry, exit, or a pivot — where the cost of getting it wrong is measured in years, not months
A negotiation — where you sense your leverage is real but cannot articulate it clearly enough to use it

The Context You Are Working In

The system is not designed to make this easy for you.

60% Burnout

Of senior-level women report frequent burnout — the highest rate ever recorded, and 10 points above their male peers at the same level.

McKinsey & LeanIn.Org · Women in the Workplace 2025
50% Companies

Only half of companies are still prioritising women’s career advancement. Formal sponsorship and development programmes are being cut across sectors.

14% Pay Gap

Women in senior positions in Switzerland earn 14% less than men in equivalent roles — even as the overall national gap narrows.

Swiss Federal Statistical Office · 2024

These are not abstract statistics. They describe the operating environment you are making a decision inside of right now. Waiting for the system to make the path clearer is not a strategy. Getting structured clarity about your specific situation — your fit, your leverage, your risk — is.

Three Engagement Levels

Matched to your decision. Scaled to what is at stake.

Each engagement produces a written Leadership Operating Blueprint — specific to your decision, your operating context, and your next level. What differs is depth, scope, and how much is on the line.

· Defined Decision, Clear Role
The Decision Diagnostic

You have a specific decision in front of you — a role, a promotion, a negotiation. You need a structured, written read on whether it is the right move, and what conditions must hold for it to work.

· Complex Move, Real Trade-offs
The Transition Diagnostic

The move is real but the picture is not clean — a difficult stakeholder environment, a role different from how it is being presented, or a decision with significant personal trade-offs that nobody is naming.

· High-Consequence, Long-Horizon
The Career Architecture Diagnostic

The question is not just the next move — it is the structure of what comes after. Board-level appointments, significant re-entry, exit into independence, or a career whose next chapter is not yet defined.

This engagement diagnoses:
  • Fit between your operating profile and the specific role or mandate
  • Pressure risks — where your patterns will be tested in this context
  • The conditions that must hold for this move to work
  • A 90-Day Action Frame for the first moves after decision

The Output

A written document. Not a verbal debrief.

Every engagement concludes with a Leadership Operating Blueprint — a structured, written synthesis of your diagnostic findings. It is yours to keep, to act on, and to return to. Nobody else receives it.

01
Fit Conditions
What this role or move specifically requires of you — and where the fit is real vs. assumed
02
Pressure Risks
Where your operating patterns will be tested — named before the decision, not discovered after
03
Named Trade-offs
What you gain, what you give up, and what you cannot know yet — written down honestly
04
Influence & Visibility Map
The stakeholder dynamics in play — and the specific gaps between your current imprint and what the next level requires
05
90-Day Action Frame
What to do first. What to protect. What to stop doing. Specific, sequenced, and grounded in your diagnostic findings

The Difference

What changes when the decision is evidence-led

Before

Circling the same question for weeks without a frame to resolve it

After

A named decision with the conditions, trade-offs, and first steps written down

Before

Unsure whether the hesitation is instinct, exhaustion, or both

After

Data-anchored clarity on your operating patterns — and where they are being stressed

Before

Knowing your leverage exists but not being able to articulate it clearly enough to use it

After

A written position grounded in fit conditions, sustainability requirements, and named constraints

Before

Taking advice from people who do not have access to your actual data

After

A defensible, written Blueprint produced by a practitioner who has examined the full picture

The Blueprint named things I had been circling for months but couldn’t quite articulate. It gave me the language — and the confidence — to make the decision I already knew I needed to make.

Questions

What senior women ask before they start

Direct answers to the questions that matter most before committing to an engagement.

Many clients who come to ARYS work with a coach — and continue to do so after their engagement. The two serve different moments.

A coach helps you develop over time: building capability, working through patterns, staying accountable. A diagnostic resolves a specific, high-stakes decision now — should I take this role, how do I navigate this transition, what does this negotiation actually require of me.

The output of an ARYS engagement is a written Leadership Operating Blueprint — a structured document built from validated assessment data and a focused diagnostic interview. It is specific to your decision, delivered within a defined timeframe, and yours to keep. Some clients share it with their coach as a working document. That is not a conflict. It is exactly the kind of clarity that makes other conversations more useful.

PXT Select® is a validated behavioural assessment measuring cognitive reasoning style, behavioural tendencies, and occupational interests. It is used globally for executive selection and leadership decision-making.

Why it matters here: under pressure, how we describe our own patterns is shaped by how we want to see ourselves. PXT provides an objective baseline that makes the diagnostic precise — not a conversation about how you feel, but a structured analysis of how you operate.

The Decision Diagnostic typically takes 10–15 working days from intake to Blueprint delivery. The Transition Diagnostic runs 15–20 days. The Career Architecture Diagnostic is scoped individually during the intake call — typically 20–30 days. All timelines are agreed at the start of each engagement. There are no open-ended programmes.

All engagement content is held in strict confidence. Nothing is shared with your employer, your organisation’s HR function, or any third party without your explicit written consent.

ARYS does not retain, reference, or publish client engagement content in any form. Your Blueprint belongs to you alone.

The intake call is structured — not a sales conversation. Its purpose is to define the decision clearly: what is actually on the table, what the risk is, and what must be diagnosed before you act.

It also determines whether an engagement is the right fit for your situation. If it is not, that will be stated directly. The call is free and carries no commitment.

Yes. ARYS works with senior women leaders across Switzerland, and Europe. All engagements are conducted in English or French, in person or remotely — structured around your availability and operating context.
